World Cup
Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar, who was declared `Man of the Tournament', looked disappointed and said he would have been much happier had India won the World Cup. ``It was simply not our day. Of course, its a great feeling to have won the award, but I would have been much happier if India had won the World Cup,'' said Tendulkar. ``I am certainly disappointed that I couldn't play a major role in the final, but then we play as a team and not as individuals,'' he said. Tendulkar admitted he enjoys batting as an opener. ``I think that's where I belong. I have scored many runs as an opener. Here also I was among the runs,'' he said.
