CHENNAI: Industrial and Technical Consultancy Organisation of Tamil Nadu (ITCOT), a joint venture of ICICI and other banks and financial institutions, is organising a two-day seminar on business opportunities in medicinal plants and herbal products in Chennai from March 28. It will cover themes including cultivation and uses of medicinal plants, development of novel products, quality control issues, intellectual property rights, marketing and finance, to be dealt with by experts from academic institutions, NGOs, the corporate sector, consultants and banks.
