Invader from Mahindra stable

MUMBAI MARCH 24. Mahindra & Mahindra, in response to the changing consumer trends towards good-looking utility vehicles, has announced the launch of Invader. The price band for the vehicle starts at Rs. 3.78 lakhs (ex-showroom Jaipur).

Alan Durante, Executive Director and President, Automotive Sector, M&M, said, "The Invader is aimed at those who want the excitement of a sporty open top vehicle, along with the power of an SUV and comforts of a car. This is our latest endeavour to give a dose of adventure to our customers at a value price.

The Invader is powered by a 2.5 litre IDI diesel engine and offers 72.5 bhp output as also a DI diesel version. The Invader is available in attractive metallic shades of sunrise red, dark green, grand black and silver.

The Invader has been developed indigenously by M&M and has been engineered as per requirements of the end-consumer. It would be available in four major metros, Jaipur and Chandigarh from mid-April. It will have a phased rollout across the country from May onwards. The company plans to market it through unique dual pronged marketing mix aimed at the individual customer and the institutional buyer.
