Two found hanging

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM March 26. In a freak incident, a 26-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman, both neighbours, were found dead by hanging from the two ends of a shawl secured to a cashew nut tree near Manvila in Kazhakottam police station limits on Wednesday morning. Police identified the deceased as Biju (26) and Dhanya (23). Police suspect the persons to have committed suicide. Unidentified body

The body of a 60-year-old man was found near the Shangumugham beach on Wednesday morning. Police said the identity of the deceased was yet to be established. The body was shifted to the Medical College Hospital mortuary.

In another case, a man was found dead in one of the flats in an apartment complex at Kuravankonam, late evening on Wednesday. The police identified the person as Sanjay K. Damodaran (30), a officer with the SBI.
