Two boys kidnapped from Viveknagar

BANGALORE March 26. Two boys, children of brothers, both businessmen, were kidnapped on Monday evening from near their house at Mamulpet in Viveknagar police limits. The kidnappers have reportedly demanded a ransom of Rs. 10 lakh.

Police said Avinash (8), son of Gautham Chand, and Nikhil (5), son of Mahaveer Chand, were kidnapped when they were playing near their house. Mr. Gautham runs an electronic goods shop at Neelasandra, and his brother owns a medical shop, according to police.

It is learnt that Mr. Gautham's family received an anonymous call for a ransom of Rs. 10 lakh.
