Letters to the Editor
Sir, _ Kuldip Nayar is never tired of repeating the quote of Mahatma Gandhi that Hindus and Muslims are his two eyes ( Caught in the crossfire , March 22). Two eyes can never be unequal and, as such, the branding of Muslims as minorities goes against the belief of Gandhiji. The creation of minorities is not the handiwork of the BJP and, therefore, it is not fair for the writer to conclude that the BJP has done in its five-year rule what the British could not in their 150-year rule. To accuse the BJP of being the sole culprit for the state of things today is hardly justified.
