The Magistrate, Workman, while releasing him on a bail of £ 20,000 asked Mr. Kumar not to leave the city and fixed the case for next hearing to April 11. ``I thank the Indian Government and the diplomatic officers of the Indian High Commission here for their support. It is a legal process, we have to go through it,'' Mr. Kumar said soon after the order. ``The authorities in the prison were very cordial. Every one was supportive,'' he said. Mr. Kumar was arrested here last Wednesday following an Interpol alert over a complaint filed against his company in Amsterdam that 14 of its employees were working in the Netherlands without work permits. Mr. Kumar's counsel, Barrister Hugo Keith, told the Judge that Mr. Kumar took over as the Director of the Dutch company after the visa applications for the 14 employees were made. ``A family man and a senior officer of the company, Mr. Kumar is prepared to provide a security deposit of up to £ one million with five sureties,'' he said.

Meanwhile, i-flex Solutions, Mumbai, today welcomed the release of Mr. Kumar. The company chairman and managing director, Rajesh Hukku, who is in London, in a statement here, thanked the Government, the Ministries of External Affairs and IT, NASSCOM, industry and the media for the unstinting support to the company and Mr. Kumar's family.
