Stripped of citizenship

LONDON APRIL 5. The Egyptian-born controversial radical Muslim cleric, Sheikh Abu Hamza, who praised the September 11 terrorist attacks on the U.S., has been stripped of his U.K. citizenship for acting against the interests of Britain. ``I have sent him a letter withdrawing his citizenship,'' the British Home Secretary, David Blunkett, told BBC Radio. Hamza has 10 days to appeal. — PTI
