Visas cancelled

Mumbai April 7. The Jordanian Government today deported the six Indian "human shields", abruptly cancelling their extended visas, according to the Raza Academy here.

A statement issued by the Academy said the Jordanian Government, after taking an assurance from the "Indian human shields" that they would not travel to Iraq, had extended their visas till Wednesday. Today, however, it told them that their visas were cancelled and asked them to leave Jordan immediately.
