Hmar houses set ablaze

GUWAHATI APRIL 11. Clashes between the Hmar and Dimasa communities in Assam's North Cachar Hills district continued today with a group of Dimasa tribals raiding Chengfung under Maibong police station and setting ablaze 80 Hmar houses, taking advantage of the curfew relaxation period between 1 and 4 p.m.. The panic-stricken residents fled the village.
