Trishul diksha not politically motivated: Singhal

JAIPUR APRIL 19. The Vishwa Hindu Parishad president, Ashok Singhal, today said the `trishul diksha' programme was not politically motivated. ``Trishul is a sacred symbol,'' he said. The tridents were not even made of metal. Some of them were made of plastic, he added.

Mr. Singhal alleged repression of Hindus by the Congress Government in Rajasthan.
