By V.S. Sambandan

COLOMBO APRIL 22. Expressing ``deep dissatisfaction'' over the unilateral suspension of negotiations by the LTTE, the Sri Lankan President, Chandrika Kumaratunga, today ordered the military to be on maximum alert all over the island.

Ms. Kumaratunga discussed the crisis with the Prime Minister, Ranil Wickremesinghe, for two hours this morning, and later summoned a two-hour meeting of the National Security Council.
