Sir, The Centre has been too casual in dealing with the first SARS case in the country. The patient was discharged even before the second test results from the National Institute of Communicable Diseases were out. The Government should end its complacency and rise to the occasion. Even suspected cases should be handled seriously lest being a highly populated country the situation gets out of hand.
