Things to this effect had been planned in such a manner that the fascist forces had calculated the same would materialise as per plans within the next two years. Inaugurating the ninth State conference of the Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) here today, Mr. Bhagwat said that the corporate fascists were already in control of the nation. These were fascist forces from the corporate world that supports the U.S. administration and were keen on destroying democracy and the nation's Constitution in order to serve their vested interests. ``Let us not run away with words like globalisation. There is no such thing like globalisation. It was neo-fascism in its most naked, blatant and violent form of market fundamentalism in the garb of globalisation," he said. It also reflected that the indigenous forces of fascism had completely aligned and surrendered to global fascism based in Washington. The U.S. decides which country was democratic or anti-democratic. It means that we were already targeted for the official statement of the U.S. State Department had labelled the West Bengal Government as anti-democratic, Mr. Bhagwat said. He said that the on going so-called reforms process was aimed at superseding the Constitution of the nation and hence this was the moment where the "bull had to be taken by the horns''. The process for subverting the Constitution had begun with the appointment of the Constitution Review Committee. Though it did not succeed, every institution of the Constitution was being systematically subverted by appointing people who were experts in giving a complete go-by to the established Constitutional traditions of the past 50 years, Mr. Bhagwat said. The Defence Ministry had turned into a big business centre as a result of this. On the other side of the fence, the Gujarat Governor, who is an RSS nominee, failed in upholding the Constitution during the infamous riots there, he alleged. The votaries of the Hindutva movement were those who had never seriously read the Gita, the Mahabharatha and of course the Bible and the Koran. It was an unfortunate paradox that the very people who had looted the public sector banks were now members of the Prime Minister's Economic Advisory Council, Mr. Bhagwat said. All this proves that we were already started passing through a fascist phase and not a pre-fascist phase. While the economic sovereignty of the nation had been completely surrendered, the rulers of the nation were concentrating on creating hatred between people so that they could carry on looting the people on all fronts, he said. Admiral Bhagwat said that Ram was never born and that being a person who hailed from a place quite near Ayodhya, he could with all sincerity tell that there was no such tradition as Karseva in Ayodhya. But the Hindutva bandwagon comprises such hypocrites who even celebrate Hanuman's birthday "by cutting a cake and singing happy birthday to you Hanumanji''. He said that multinationals and foreign direct investment were being used only for the purpose of corporate mergers. While States were being created in the name of Adivasis, the natural wealth of such States were being given away as "lease in perpetuity''. Even Mother Ganga had been privatised, Mr. Bhagwat said. "When the Prime Minister says that 10 crore jobs would be created in 10 years, it also remained a fact that within four years of BJP-led rule as many as 4 crore persons had lost their jobs. Things had come to such a pass that the U.S. was a threat to our national interest and decided on a regime change in the interest of a style of democracy that suits their interest," he said. The former Navy chief's wife, Niloufer Bhagwat, also addressed the meeting. The function was presided over by the DYFI State president, P.R. Vasanthan. The DYFI national president, E.P. Jayarajan, the national secretary, Thapas Sinha, and the Kollam MP, P. Rajendran, addressed.
