Two of his two accomplices have also been sentenced and a fine of Rs. 4 lakhs has been slapped on each of them. Mian Mohammed Ajmal alias Akram Lahori was arrested on June 29, 2002, along with four accomplices. Sindh and Punjab police departments had announced Rs 2.5 millions as reward on his head. Akram (40), a graduate, was earlier working for Sipah-e-Sahaba. In 1996, he founded Lashkar-e-Jhangvi with others and was installed the sectarian outfit's commander.
