Passport counter in Old City soon

By Our Staff Reporter

HYDERABAD April 26. The Regional Passport Office here, which is the single largest passport office in the country receiving 1,241 applications everyday, is planning to open an enquiry-cum-acceptance of applications facility in the Old City.

This step is being taken considering that a large number of applicants approaching the passport office for submission and enquiries belong to the Old City. Soon, the Jubilee speed-post office at Dewan Dewdi, would be accepting passport application forms and they would also be provided with an enquiry module to check the status of their file on the computer, according to the Regional Passport Officer, V. Sraman.
