Journalist dead

NEW DELHI APRIL 27. The Special Correspondent in the Delhi Bureau of The Tribune, T.V. Lakshminarayan, died here today after protracted illness.

Thirty-nine-year-old Lakshminarayan, who started his journalistic career with the UNI in 1986 joined The Tribune in 1995.

He is survived by wife and two sons. — PTI

Minister condoles death

Correspondent reports:

The Information and Broadcasting Minister, Ravi Shankar Prasad, has condoled the death of Lakshminarayan.

In a condolence message, Mr. Prasad said that Mr. Lakshminarayan came from a family of journalists and made a mark in the field.

His death cut short a promising career, he said.
