Kalyan Singh denies returning to BJP fold

By Our Special Correspondent

NEW DELHI APRIL 27. The former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Kalyan Singh, has vowed to make things difficult for the ruling BJP-BSP coalition in the State but realises that it will be a tough task without the help of other political parties.

Camping in the capital to rejuvenate workers of his Rashtriya Kranti Party, Mr. Singh denied reports that he was returning to the BJP fold. The BJP general secretary, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, had also said that there was no proposal to bring Mr. Singh back. Mr. Singh, who leads a four-member group in the Assembly, said he was open to an alliance with the Congress in Uttar Pradesh.
