4 militants killed

Baramulla April 27. Security forces killed four militants of the pro-Pakistan Hizb-ul Mujahideen in an encounter at Watlab Sopore in this district today. The security forces launched search operations on information that militants were hiding in a specially built hideout in the woods atop a hill. When they stormed the hideout, the militants fired at them with automatic weapons. — UNI
