Inflation rate rises

New Delhi April 27. High prices of electricity and manufactured products pushed up inflation to a two-year high of 6.47 per cent for the week ended April 12. Increase in prices of essential commodities, including fruits and vegetables, led to the hike in point-to-point Wholesale Price Index from last week's 6.17 per cent. — UNI
