Letters to the Editor
Sir, This has reference to the article `Hamburg or Veggieburg' (Tidbits, April 24 ). Every year, heart diseases, cancer, stroke and other killer diseases linked to animal food affect millions of meat-eaters. Children who consume hamburgers, chicken nuggets and hot dogs are waddling to obesity. Vegetarian diets help ward off heart disease. Hamburg can promote compassion toward animals by changing its name to Veggieburg.
Bijal Vachharaajani,
