India Motor Parts and Accessories (IMPAL) has registered a net profit of Rs. 7.79 crores on a turnover of Rs. 179.81 crores in the year ended March 31, 2003. In the previous year, the company achieved a net profit of Rs. 8.38 crores on a turnover of Rs. 175.83 crores. After providing for interest and depreciation, the profit before tax was Rs. 12.08 crores against Rs. 12.50 crores. In the quarter ended March 31, 2003, the company has achieved a net profit of Rs. 1.31 crores on a turnover of Rs. 42.09 crores against Rs. 1.94 crores on a turnover of Rs. 42.29 crores in the previous year.
