Office-bearers

KOLLAM APRIL 28. While P.R. Vasanthan has been re-elected as the State president of the DYFI for another term, A. Pradeep Kumar has been elected as the new secretary of the DYFI State unit. He replaces T. Sashidharan. Shyam Sunder has been elected as the new treasurer.

The other office-bearers are, K. Latha, T.A. Gopakumar, K.P. Paul, T.I. Madhusudhanan and B.V. Rameshan, all vice-presidents. The joint secretaries are John Fernandez, S. Ajayakumar, P.V. Ravindranath, P. Sreeramakrishnan and R. Sanal Kumar.

K. Anil Kumar, Baby Lal and K.V. Somashekaran have been elected executive committee members. The State committe has 75 members and the district-wise break-up is Kasaragod (4), Kannur (7), Kozhikode (7), Malapuram (5), Palakkad (6), Thrissur (7), Ernakulam (7), Idukki (4), Kottayam (4), Alappuzha (6), Pathanamthitta (3), Kollam (6) and Thiruvananthapuram(6).
