New Pak. envoy to U.K.

Islamabad April 28. Pakistan's tough talking journalist-turned-diplomat, Maleeha Lodhi, has been appointed the country's new High Commissioner to Britain.

Ms. Lodhi, who has worked as Pakistan's Ambassador to the U.S. twice in the past, would succeed the present High Commissioner, Abdul Kadir Jaffar, media reports today said, adding that an official announcement would soon be made. — PTI
