Last date for TDS returns

NEW DELHI APRIL 28. The Finance Ministry has extended uniformly the last date for filing of income tax returns for tax deducted at source (TDS) to September 30.

This has been done in order to give effect to certain proposal contained in the Finance Bill 2003 relating to the filing of return of TDS.
