Kerala-Thiruvananthapuram
By Our Staff Reporter
According to KSEB sources, the disruption, which occurred at 11-25 p.m., was due to a snag in the 220 KV line at Kaithar in Tamil Nadu that brings power to Edamon in the State. The supply to the city was restored around 12 midnight by linking to the NTPC's Kayamkulam power plant as a temporary measure. According to the sources, the snag is a major one and the power supply is likely to be restored fully only by Tuesday.
