CRISIL strengthens position

Despite being a challenging year, Credit Rating Information Services of India (Crisil) strengthened its market position in all its businesses — rating, advisory and information — and recorded significant revenue and profit growth in the year ended March 31, 2003.

Total income was Rs. 71.85 crores against Rs. 69.29 crores. Adjusted for the one time change in the accounting policy during 2001-02, income from operations for the year grew by 11.7 per cent to Rs. 66.99 crores from Rs. 59.95 crores in the previous year. The profit after tax has risen by 37 per cent to Rs. 17.92 crores from Rs. 13.08 crores . The company has declared a dividend of 100 per cent for 2002-03 against 65 last year.
