The SSC exam results are being made available on the telephone by the Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited in association with the A.P. State Board of Secondary Education. An interactive voice response system that "can handle 240 calls at an instance'' and answer calls in Telugu, English and Hindi has been installed to announce the results. Students need to dial 9372222 from Hyderabad and 040-9372222 from other parts of the State to obtain information about marks in each subject, total marks and division. "Once the caller selects a language, the system will ask for the hall ticket number. After entering the number, the student can listen to the marks and the division,'' a BSNL spokesperson said. Meanwhile, the examination helpline set up by the Department of School Education, Divya Disha and UNICEF will function from April 30 for a week in view of the SSC results being declared on May 1. The helpline would give advice to the students who appeared for SSC examinations this year and their parents. They can call on the toll free number 1600-334008 or on 23232343 and 23231972 between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m. for any advice or help. Questions can be emailed to dirschoolhyd@hotmail.com, dirschoolhyd@rediffmail.com, dirschoolhyd@indiatimes.com or apchildrightcell@hotmail.com, according to a press release.
