Kerala-Thiruvananthapuram
By Our Staff Reporter
The KSU district secretary, V. Manu, said though Mr. Thomas had openly stated that he had become a Parliament member, the DCC president and a Minister because of his loyalty towards Mr. K. Karunakaran, his move to part ways with the `I' group at the time of the Rajya Sabha elections shows that he was only interested in remaining in power, he said. Mr. Manu urged the Chief Minister to remove Mr. Thomas from the ministry and include a new representative from the `I' group. The KSU would organise a "rain dance'' in front of the Secretariat next week.
