AI operates jumbo flight

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM April 29. Air India today cancelled the flights to Dubai and Dammam due to the pilot's stir but operated the jumbo flight in the

Riyadh- Mumbai-Thiruvananthapuram- Kozhikode-Mumbai-Riyadh sector. The AI 924/923 flight being operated using the wide-bodied 747 aircraft, arrived at 12 noon instead of 6-15 a.m. and left with full load at 1-30 p.m. to Riyadh, according to AI official. The passengers who had booked for the AI 982 flight to Mumbai, which was cancelled following the on-going stir by the Indian Pilot's Guild.The airline will be operating an additional flight in the Riyadh-Thiruvananthapuram-Riyadh sector tomorrow.
