Letters to the Editor
Sir I refer to your Editorial `Paying for public safety' ( April 28 ). The Uphaar tragedy is not the only case of violation of rules, but one could find such sights anywhere in India. The Delhi High Court ruling in this case may not heal the wounds of those who lost their dear ones but it could send a firm message to those who keep playing with the safety of the public. It is right that the court held accountable not only the cinema authority but also the authority who issued them the licence.
