Consumer index up 3 points

SHIMLA: The all India consumer price index for industrial workers (base 1982=100) registered a rise of three points during March at 487. The increase was attributed to rise in prices of wheat, groundnut oil, mustard oil, vanaspati, vegetables, and fruits and kerosene oil, Labour Bureau sources here said today. In the previous year it had increased by two points in the same month. — PTI
