Wipro to set up offshore BPO centre

KOLKATA: Wipro said it was looking at setting up an offshore business process outsourcing (BPO) centre in one of the Asia-Pacific countries. "We are looking at some offshore offices within the Asia-Pacific and now tapping ground in five countries," Wipro Spectramind CEO, Raman Roy, said. "The offshore centre will be in operation within six months of our announcement," he said. — PTI
