Indo-American Chamber's web site launched

Pondicherry May 1. The Pondicherry chapter of the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce has introduced its website, www.iaccpondicherry.com to link the Pondicherry business sector to the rest of the world. It is linked to the chamber's parent web site and other chambers in America and related sites.

The Chief Secretary to the Pondicherry government, R. Padmanabhan, launched the site recently under the chairmanship of the chamber chairman, T. Jayaprakash.

Those who felicitated the opening of the site included the district Collector, A. Anbarasu, the Managing Director of the government-owned corporation PIPDIC, R. M. Pillai, the Managing Director of the Pondicherry Tourism Development Corporation, P. Mathew Samuel, and the Managing Director of the Kolam Information System, Punith Dhandania.

A communication from the chamber said the site would be of help to access for information relating to visa procedure and trade information on the USA. Industries could develop their business opportunities through the site around the world.
