Bank stir today

New Delhi May 1. Bank officers will go on a nation-wide strike tomorrow demanding, among other things, an early wage revision but the Indian Banks Association termed the one-day token strike ``unjustified.''

Three leading unions said in statements that they had decided to go ahead with the strike as no understanding had been reached in the wage negotiations with the Government last night. — PTI
