"I expected to be in the top 10 but not the topmost'', said Vijay Kumar, who hails from Mahabubabad in Warangal district. Seven students from the Nalanda Educational Institutions figured in the top 10 scores. The institution's students shared 3rd, 5th, 6th, 8th, 9th and 10th highest scores of the State. K. Alekhya, who secured the 5th highest score said she wants to join the Indian Institute of Technology and dedicated the rank to her mother whose dream was to see her daughter secure a State rank. The 6th highest scorer, Sree Harsha Varma, wants to become an automobile engineer. Interestingly, Vineela Rekha (8th), Lakshmi Kumuda (9th), Rakesh and P. Chandana (10th) want to study medicine.
