Lethal injection

Sir, — Millions of animals and birds are being slaughtered through cruel and painful methods throughout the world. These animals and birds undergo torture, agony and unbearable pain at the time of slaughter.

They deserve sympathy and kindness. The method of lethal injection should be extended to these innocent and helpless animals and birds too.
