Rupee little changed

MUMBAI MAY 2. The rupee ended barely changed against the U.S. dollar in an extremely thin and listless trading at the interbank foreign exchange market, adversely affected by the nationwide strike by bank officers, demanding wage revisions and other benefits.

Closing at 47.3500/3550 a dollar, little changed from Wednesday's close of 47.3450/3550, the rupee traded in a narrow range of 47.3450 and 47.3600 in muted business, transacted mainly between a few foreign and private banks. — PTI
