Mukherjee seeks bail

New Delhi May 2. The former Delhi High Court Judge, Shameet Mukherjee, arrested by the CBI on Wednesday for his alleged involvement in the DDA land scam, today approached the High Court seeking bail on the grounds of his wife's illness and mother's old age. Justice R. C. Chopra issued notices to the CBI and fixed the case for final disposal on Monday. — UNI
