After a brief respite, the MLA on Friday once again spat venom at Mr. Reddy on various counts. His verbal firing at his rival took place at an informal media meet in the local municipal office after the council meeting when presspersons sought his reaction on the controversial burial ground issue on which the council witnessed angry exchanges between the Chairperson and the MLA's supporters. It was alleged during the exchanges that the MLA was putting spokes in the amicable settlement of the burial ground issue, which eventually provoked him to hit out at the Municipal Chairperson. Denying any hand in the issue, the MLA talked of alleged violation of protocol by Mr. Sankar Reddy by holding meetings when the Assembly was in progress, that too without any prior notice. He further charged that Mr. Reddy was treating the council and the municipality as his pocket organisation without any regard for rules. He also took strong exception to the reported threat held out by the Municipal Chairperson that if wanted he would dislodge the Vice-Chairman any moment as he happened to be the MLA's choice. Sharply reacting to these remarks, the MLA shot back, "Let him dislodge if he has the guts. I will see."
