'NC trying to destabilise Govt.'

By Our Staff Reporter

JAMMU MAY 4. The Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party chairman, Bhim Singh, has denied the former Chief Minister, Farooq Abdullah's charge that he had contacted him with an offer to topple the Mufti Mohammad Sayeed-led Government in the State.

"People have thrown out the National Conference as they were fed up with it. The NC only befooled the people and its leaders made false promises to them for their vested interests. The party has lost its credibility and the new coalition Government has proved to be a better alternative," he told presspersons here.

His party had joined the coalition on its own for the betterment of people, he said and accused the NC of trying to destabilise the Government.
