"Imposing such rules violate the law on compulsory education. And, such complaints will be dealt with severely," the Minister said. His warning came in response to a calling attention motion raised by the AIADMK MLA, P.K. Sekar Babu, on the need to regulate the tuition fee in matriculation schools. The Minister also said the Chittibabu committee had presented its final report on fixing tuition fee, necessary infrastructure and salaries for teachers in the 3,450 matriculation schools. The Government would look into the recommendations and take steps to implement them, he said.
