With reference to the report, `A fraud on Constitution', published on April 23, advocate N. Jothi writes: ``My client, the AIADMK treasurer, C. Sreenivasan, was shocked to read this version in your newspaper, since no other newspaper had reported about the case as has been done by The Hindu that such an argument was advanced in the court of law. My client also verified with several advocates who were present in the court hall including counsel of T.T.V. Dinakaran, and found that Dr. Subramanian Swamy himself did not posit such an argument''. The sentence in the report should have read ``alleging that the AIADMK MP had paid $ one million for getting him permanent residentship in Singapore''. (The omission of `MP' in the sentence has created a misleading impression that the AIADMK was alleged to have paid the money. The error is regretted).
