Laloo, Rabri exonerated

PATNA MAY 6. The RJD supremo, Laloo Prasad Yadav, and the Bihar Chief Minister, Rabri Devi, have been given a ``clean chit'' by the Income Tax Department vis-à-vis expenses incurred on the marriage of their eldest daughter, Misa, a senior department official told PTI here today.

``The department recently accepted the claim of Mr. Yadav and Ms. Rabri that only Rs. 8 lakhs was spent on the marriage after assessment for the financial year 2000-2001.''
