Id holiday on May 15

NEW DELHI MAY 9. The Government has shifted the public holiday for Milad-un-Nabi, birthday of Prophet Mohammad, from May 14 to 15. An official release said that May 14, declared earlier as a public holiday, would now be a working day for all Central Government offices here. For offices outside Delhi, the Central Government Employees Welfare Coordination Committee or the head of offices, where such committees are not functioning, may decide the date depending on the decision of the State Governments concerned.
