Attempting to raise the issue of a recent notification banning constructions near the coast in the coastal States, which is said to have a bearing on the Tamil Nadu Government's controversial proposal to demolish the Queen Mary's College in Chennai to make way for a new Secretariat, the leader of the AIADMK, P.G. Narayanan, charged Mr. Baalu with violating the oath of office and secrecy. He said Mr Balu had no right to continue in office and sought to know the fate of his application for a censure motion against the Minister. Even as all the AIADMK members kept standing, the Chairman was firm in disallowing mention of the issue. "This is not the time and place to move it," he said.
