The Bihar Governor, Vinod Chandra Pande, will now be Governor of Arunachal Pradesh replacing Arvind Dave. Mr. Dave, in turn, will replace the former police officer, Ved Marwah, as the Governor of Manipur. Mr. Marwah moves to Jharkhand for the remainder of his term to replace Justice Rama Jois. Mr. Jois moves to Bihar. The Governor of Tripura, Lt. Gen. K.M. Seth, and the Governor of Chhattisgarh, D.N. Sahaya, will swap places for the rest of their terms in office. Assam still remains without a full-time Governor. Following the appointment of the Assam Governor, Lt. Gen. S.K. Sinha to Jammu and Kashmir, Mr. Dave, who moves from Arunachal Pradesh to Manipur, has been given additional charge of the State.
