Speaking at the Washington Foreign Press Centre, Dr. Rice argued that the President is very firm in his commitment that "terrorism is terrorism, wherever it is carried out, against whom it is carried out, is not a legitimate thing for advancing a political agenda. All terrorism is wrong. And in fact we have a very good cooperation with the Indian Government in the war on terrorism. ``At the time of the attack on the Indian Parliament... the United States spoke out very strongly about that terrorism," Dr. Rice said adding that Washington had also listed a number of organisations that have been involved in terrorism against India, including Kashmir-based organisations that have been involved in terrorism. "...our relationship with India is a broad and deepening relationship. It goes beyond security matters. It goes beyond proliferation issues. It goes beyond regional issues. And this President is dedicated to strengthening and broadening the Indian relationship to make it in accordance with the fact that India is the world's largest democracy...''
