Ethiopian Maj. Gen. Abebaw Tadese, who is to be the force's deputy commander, arrived in Bujumbura with 14 other officers, including logistics and communications officers. ``We are here to prepare and arrange everything ... for the coming troops,'' said Gen. Abebaw. Ethiopia is expected to contribute some 980 troops to the peacekeeping force aiming to implement a cease-fire between Hutu rebels and the Tutsi-dominated army fighting a 9 1/2-year civil war.
