In the DAV Matriculation higher secondary school, Gopalapuram here, six students have secured equal to or more than the mark secured by the State's official topper, Ramasubramanian of Palaymkottai 1,181/1,200. According to Beena Gokhale, principal, T.D. Hariharan scored 1,181 out of 1,200, while P.V. Sanjai (1,182), Bharath Srinivas (1,183), Gokula Priya (1,184) got higher marks. As already reported, S.B. Sudharsan with 1,185 and Kalluri Bharathi with 1,188 were among the top rankers in the State among those who took languages other than Tamil. Another claimant to the toppers list is K. Bhargavi of the NSN Matriculation School, Chromepet, Chennai, with a tally of 1,181.
